Sean Davidson
Director of Investigations
Sean Davidson runs the in-house Investigations Division at Gomez Trial Attorneys. In this position he provides invaluable support to our litigation teams by meticulously reviewing all aspects of a case to capture key data to ensure greater justice for our personal injury clients. This includes but is not limited to, reviewing police reports, surveying sites, locating and interviewing essential witnesses, finding at-fault parties, gathering and analyzing the information from Event Data Recorders in vehicles, and researching property and company ownership.
Sean spent five years in the Marine Corps as an Infantry Squad Leader and deployed overseas three times. During that period, Sean conducted humanitarian missions in East Timor, responded to the terrorist attack on the USS Cole, and conducted combat operations in Iraq.
After his military service, Sean began his 17-year law enforcement career as a peace officer. During that time, he gained extensive knowledge conducting both complex and routine criminal investigations, conducted a plethora of interviews and interrogations and has experience testifying in both state and federal court. Some of Sean’s assignments in law enforcement included patrol, patrol supervisor, background investigator, gang enforcement team, and investigations for crimes of property. After his law enforcement career, Sean worked for a national company where he investigated complex workers compensation claims for the State of California.
Sean has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a master’s degree in Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership from the University of San Diego. He also holds a California Advanced Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Certificate. In his free time, Sean coaches high school football and likes to golf, travel, and go to the beach with his family.
